About Me

Before applying to Physician Assistant school, I worked as a lab manager in a neuroscience laboratory at Hunter College studying stress and anxiety with mouse models of behavior. I performed numerous stereotaxic surgeries and optogenetic fiber implantations to study the circuit of the prefront cortex – basal forebrain – basolateral amygdala. I also became a certified phlebotomist and shadowed PA teams in the liver, lung, and kidney transplant units at New York Presbyterian Hospital. In my free time I like to look at the tapestries and Greco-Roman statues in the various Met museums, as well as play tennis in the park.
